Roof Warranty

A roof you trust. Support you can count on. Learn how your warranty protection works, or tell us about a concern with a roof we installed.

Warranty information

Your warranty, at a glance

  • Your written warranty comes first. The term, covered work, and conditions are in your project agreement and warranty certificate.
  • Two kinds of coverage. Our installation coverage and the manufacturer’s product warranties handle different kinds of issues.
  • No diagnosis needed. Describe the problem and share photos taken safely from the ground or indoors.
  • We review first. Our team checks your project information and arranges the next step.

Coverage

Two types of protection

Your roof is covered in two separate ways. Knowing which one applies helps us route your concern to the right place.

01 / Big Bear

Workmanship Warranty

Covers defects in our installation, subject to your written warranty:

  • Installation-related leaks
  • Flashing and roof detail installation
  • Other covered installation defects

Your certificate defines the term, eligibility, and available remedy.

02 / Manufacturer

Manufacturer Warranty

A separate warranty from the product maker for qualifying manufacturing defects:

  • Depends on the products installed on your roof
  • May require registration and eligibility
  • Manufacturer terms and claim procedures apply

Enhanced coverage applies only if it is documented for your roofing system.

Limitations

What may affect coverage

Not every roofing concern is a warranty issue. This page explains how requests work — it doesn’t create or change your warranty.

  • Storm or impact damage

Wind, hail, fallen branches, and similar events may need a separate repair or an insurance review.

  • Age and maintenance

Normal wear, debris buildup, and drainage problems may not be covered.

  • Changes by others

Solar panels, new roof penetrations, or later alterations may affect coverage.

  • Other building conditions

Structural movement, condensation, and unrelated components need a cause-specific assessment.

If a visit or repair carries a charge, ask us for a written explanation and price before approving any work. Questions? Call (360) 803-1509.

FAQ

Warranty Questions

How long is my warranty?

The length of your workmanship warranty is in your project agreement and warranty certificate. Manufacturer product warranties have their own, separate terms. If you can’t find your documents, contact us with the property address and we’ll look up your project.

Is every leak a warranty claim?

No. A leak can come from an installation issue, a product defect, storm damage, or another condition in the building. We review the details to find the likely cause before coverage is decided.

Can I ask if I’m not sure what’s covered?

Yes. Send us the property address and a short description of the concern, and we’ll help you understand the next step.

Does my warranty transfer if I sell my home?

It depends on the terms of your workmanship warranty and the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact us before the sale so we can check what applies to your roof.

How soon will someone come out?

Timing depends on our review, how urgent the problem is, the weather, and access to the property. If water is coming in right now, call (360) 803-1509 rather than waiting on the form.
